Central Jakarta Water Resource Sub-agency is targeting to complete micro channel dredging on Jalan Yusuf Adiwinata, RW 05 Gondangdia Urban Village, Menteng, by this month.

Menteng Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Dendi Iskandar, said the dredging is carried out to anticipate inundation due to channel capacity.

According to him, there are 12 personnel to dredge the channel every day along 300 meters.
"Now the dredging progress has reached 65 percent or 230 meters. It is hoped to complete by the end of this month," he added.
Yudi, resident of RW 05 Gondangdia Urban Village, appreciated the dredging run by the sub-agency.
"It is hoped the channel capacity will go to maximum level again," he hoped.
